Rowdy's a texter!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This photo is one of my new favorites but is was a mistake. We were both taking pictures of our favorite poser and i took mine first and got right in the way as Celeste took hers. I think it was a good mistake.

Kodi and Degan

Well since we might be moving, I think Christmas might come in Jan. Ha ha. Kidding! We are trying to keep it small though, just in case.

  • My mom got Kodi Lynn a baby from American Girl, so if you want she could use accessories.
  • They both need clothes, and shoes. size 2t and 12 months, shoe size 6 and 1
  • Movies are always a hit.

Thanks!

Pictures From Texas

Doing the Shark Dance.

Grayson loved Papa. He kept doing going up to him to give him a hug.

The Wii was a big hit in Texas. There were even a few that woke up sore the next morning from boxing and bowling.

Bobby torturing the kids as usual but I don't think the kids mind too much.

All five of the boys. They are getting so big. This was a difficult task trying to get all of them to look at the camera. Especially Miles that boy does not like to sit still.

Lynda rocking Livee and Rowdy.

When Sydney put her hair up Grayson could not stop looking at it.

I love the way that Carys is looking at Kaidee in this picture.

Dancing cousins

Grayson wasn't liking the kisses from Chase very much.

Christmas Wish Lists . . .

I have an idea . . . would everyone be willing to post their Christmas wish list? You could list anything and everything you would love to receive. Random things, expensive things, simple things, homemade things, collection things, thoughtful things . . . Make your list long to make it easier for all.
You list, we comment. Of course you would have to promise (on your honor, pinkie swear, stick a needle in your eye, etc.) to not look at the comments attached to your wish list. That way we could discuss gifts behind your blog (different than behind your back), like "do you want to go in on?" or "what did you get her?" or "do you know where I could find that?"
The lists would help me, I know they would help Darian, and of course Santa will be grateful too!
What do you think?

Stocking Party

Well it was another fun year. I wish that we were all there to enjoy it. Cody and Celeste did a great job being hosts. The food was extra good. We had a 6 foot burrito from Rosa Maria's, Aunt Lana's rice, Uncle Steve's beans, and Aunt Toni's root beer floats. We had lots of good laughs. We have a few brave souls that will be joining us next year. Neil and Jill Galyan are stocking party virgins so remember to be nice. If you would like to be a part of the festivities next year let me know and I will tell Aunt Toni. Here are some pictures from last night.

But before I did break it...here were some pics!! Waiting for a friend to send us the rest of the pictures from the vacation!
Hope all is well with everyone!
Happy almost Thanksgiving :)

I'm Thankful for Rhymes

I just wanted to share this cute Thanksgiving poem. Happy almost turkey day everyone!! We love and miss you!

TWAS THE NIGHT OF THANKSGIVING,
BUT I JUST COULDN'T SLEEP
I TRIED COUNTING BACKWARDS,
I TRIED COUNTING SHEEP.

THE LEFTOVERS BECKONED -
THE DARK MEAT AND WHITE
BUT I FOUGHT THE TEMPTATION
WITH ALL OF MY MIGHT

TOSSING AND TURNING WITH ANTICIPATION
THE THOUGHT OF A SNACK BECAME INFATUATION.

SO, I RACED TO THE KITCHEN, FLUNG OPEN THE DOOR
AND GAZED AT THE FRIDGE, FULL OF GOODIES GALORE.
GOBBLED UP TURKEY AND BUTTERED POTATOES,
PICKLES AND CARROTS, BEANS AND TOMATOES.

I FELT MYSELF SWELLING SO PLUMP AND SO ROUND,
'TIL ALL OF A SUDDEN, I ROSE OFF THE
GROUND.

I CRASHED THROUGH THE CEILING,
FLOATING INTO THE SKY
WITH A MOUTHFUL OF PUDDING
AND A HANDFUL OF PIE.

BUT, I MANAGED TO YELL AS I SOARED
PAST THE TREES....
HAPPY EATING TO ALL - PASS THE
CRANBERRIES, PLEASE.

MAY YOUR STUFFING BE TASTY,
MAY YOUR TURKEY BE PLUMP.
MAY YOUR POTATOES 'N GRAVY
HAVE NARY A LUMP,

MAY YOUR YAMS BE DELICIOUS MAY YOUR PIES
TAKE THE PRIZE,
MAY YOUR THANKSGIVING DINNER STAY
OFF OF YOUR THIGHS.

MAY YOUR THANKSGIVING BE BLESSED!!

Happy Birthday Chase!!

Happy Birthday, Chase! We Utah Bowlers have not been very good at keeping up on birthdays, but this is such a big one for you that we couldn't help but wish you a happy day! So,

You are 12???

Happy Birthday Chase......We love ya! The Peevy's

Happy Birthday Chase

Happy Birthday Chase! I hope you have a great birthday. I can't wait to see you tomorrow. I still can't believe that you are 12 years old.

***I remember coming home from work and seeing you with your head shaved. I was so upset. Your uncles called me to ask if they could shave your head and I told them no. But they didn't listen to me. I was very mad.
***When you were three you started playing soccer. You were the youngest and the smallest on the team. Your shorts came down to your ankles.
***I love how sensitive you are. You don't like it when people are mean to other people. You don't like to see people hurt or upset. I love this side of you. You have a special bond with the grandma's in our ward (Sis. Hubbs and Sis. Cook) You always give them hugs when you see them and if they are sitting alone you always go and sit with them so that they are not alone.
***I remember your uncles and their friends calling me to see if they could take you shopping. I think that they got a lot of attention from the girls when you were with them. I know that this is why you don't like to shop now.
***I remember you being in the room with me when Cole was born. You were so worried about me and you didn't like to see me in pain. But after Cole was born you were so happy.
***I love watching you play sports. You are so good at everything you do. I love hearing other people tell me how good you are. I am always excited to go to your games and cheer you on.
***When you were younger I was at work and Nan called and told me to come home because you had been bit by a dog. I was shocked to see how much blood their was when I saw you. You ended up being fine and you didn't even need stiches. They just glued it together and you were fine. I love the outcome of that dog bite you get so many comments on your double dimples.
***You are such a good big brother. I like to watch you play army men with your sisters and brothers.
***When you were little you would always cry if we went on the freeway. You thought that if we went on the freeway that it meant we would be driving for a long time. Kaidee is now doing the same thing.
***You love your Dad. You can't wait for him to come home and play with you. You and Garrett love playing wiffle ball in the front yard, army men, catch, and basketball.
***I remember your first year playing basketball. You were so small and people enjoyed watching you play. You were able to play without letting your heighth bother you. I loved watching you shoot your three pointers.
***I am so glad to have you as my son. You make me proud in everything you do. I can't wait to see what the next 12 years bring. I love you Chase.

"You Are Always On The Computer"

Recently Craig told me I am always on the computer blogging. I do understand that I blog more than the average blogger. But, here are the reasons why I love to blog:
*It is a way for me to write about what is going on in our family - it is a journal.
*I enjoy it.
*It makes me feel connected to friends and family who don't live close by
*Sometimes I just get so excited about something. You know when you discover something really cool and then you call your best friend and tell her all about it. Well, this is how I let it out!
*It makes me feel like I have accomplished something.
*It doesn't cost a thing, who can argue with that?
*I love to hear people's reactions after seeing my blogs. If I can make just one person smile than I feel like it is all worth it.

So to Craig and everyone else this is why I blog. Anymore questions?

G is for Grayson

Happy Birthday little guy. Grayson is such a sweetheart. He loves to giggle and run away from you. He is definitely a mommy's boy but he loves his daddy too. When you see him you can't help but smile. I am so proud to call him my nephew. HAppy First Birthday I love you.

Update on Us

Darian might be coming home sooner than we thought. Someone messed up at his work and they are trying to get everyone to work in the yard. Darian is not RCO(remote control operator)qualified so he will have to take a class. He will have to take a pay cut as well. He is not sure what the final outcome will be. As soon as I get some more news I will let you know.

Ice, ice baby!

Bobby told the boys they had soccer practice, when in fact practice was cancelled. So he told them to hop in the shower because they were "too" dirty. They could not figure out why they had to shower before practice. Chase wanted to take a bath as usual, so when he was 1/2 way through Bobby gave him this nice surprise.

Mmmmm... Puffs!

Degan loved his first taste of puffs, and mommy loved feeding him them!

Darian's Here

He got here yesterday at around 2ish and he is still here today. He will be leaving this afternoon to go back to Temple but it sure is nice having him here even if its just a little bit. I made him a home cooked meal last night and he loved it. I am not sure if it was that good or if he was just tired of eating out...lol Well I am so thankful that I am able to be out here close to him and as a bonus I get to spend time with my family. I want to thank Lynda and Tad for opening up their homes to us.

Mother Lecture #368:

Good morning everyone! Time to get up and get ready for church. If you're coming up with excuses for not going, think about this:

(Paula Avey is speaking in church today. She sent out a request asking for ideas, quotes, stories, etc. to help her with her talk. This is what she received from her daughter-in-law Elizabeth. It's beautiful, and I felt like I should share it with those who are raising my grandchildren.)

Attending church: "I believe that everyone has their ups and downs as far as their testimonies go, sort of like a roller-coaster. I think this is completely normal, and actually beneficial because it forces you to work more diligently, studying the scriptures, spending more time pondering and praying to receive answers to "un-slumping yourself" or getting out of this spiritual. Too many analogies - of course. But anyway... TO MY POINT: when I am in a spiritual rut I think "I DO NOT want to go to church today! I am not in the mood to deal with "so and so" or "what's his face" and I didn't prepare well enough for this thing and they REALLY don't need me there for that thing, I have nothing to wear, I KINDA have a headache, church is RIGHT in the MIDDLE of the kids' naptime, I am running late anyway and I'd rather not have everyone stare at me as I make my way down the aisle..." my list of excuses to miss church goes on and on. But I almost always feel this nagging, guilty feeling that I can't seem to shake off. I know where I am supposed to be, even if I don't feel like going. So, when I eventually give into the Spirit and pull into the church parking just in time for the opening song (if I'm lucky) and I find my seat, I feel a wave of calm and peace wash over me. Then whether in Sacrament meeting or one of the following classes, I hear something that was the answer to my prayers, or even to something that had only been on my mind that I hadn't even prayed about, something so fitting to my life on that very day, that I thought FOR SURE this message was sent JUST for ME! I remember a time when I was younger, before I was even a member of the church, I went one time with my sister, who was, and still is, LDS. I had recently found out my mom was ill and it was really bothering me... what happens when we die? Well, that very Sunday they were talking about paradise and the different degrees of glory. My mouth about fell open and stayed there the whole hour, as I absorbed everything that I was hearing. I had such a strong feeling that what they were saying was true. I was only a child, and not even a member of the church, but I knew. When we attend church with an open mind and open heart, and be like unto a child, we can be open to feeling the spirit confirm that what we are hearing is true. If we leave our worries and cares of the world behind, even if just for 3 hours while at church, we can concentrate on what the Lord wants us to hear, or what we personally NEED to hear, in order to serve as an answer to our prayers, or to help "un-slump ourselves" from a spiritual rut, calm our fears, or whatever the case may be."

Remember, "Sunday is that one day that is different from all the rest!"
Consider yourself motherly lectured!

Happy Sabbath,

Rowdy and his grandpa

Rowdy was making out with himself. Also we think he might turn out to be vain like uncle Tad. Everytime there is a camera or mirror around that's where his attention's at. This hat was Arlan's going away present from his school in San Bernardino.
