1. Hot chocolate or hot apple cider? Hot Carmel Apple Cider from Starbucks, YUM!! (thanks, Joy)
2. Turkey or Ham? Turkey (Ymom special, thanks, Sis)
3. Do you get a fake or real cut it yourself Christmas tree? Fake, but it comes with the lights already on it and the lights are very real (sorry Tad, but you didn't like the C.B. Christmas trees either)
4. Decorations on the outside of your house? Rob puts them up, red, red, green, red, red, green...
5. Snowball fights or sledding? Sledding makes me laugh the hardest and laughing's my favorite.
6. Do you like hanging around the fireplace? Yes, especially the great big one at the lodge, with all of you there (Thanksgiving 2008).
7. Do you enjoy going shopping? No, but I like the results of shopping! And I don't babysit for shoppers either, for daters, yes, shoppers, no.
8. Favorite Christmas song? Most every song on the Christmas CD Letti made for us a few years ago.
9. How do you feel about Christmas movies? There needs to be more hours in the evening at Christmas time just for watching movies. Have you seen the movie Silent Night? (one of my very favorites)
10. When is it too early to start listening to Christmas music? Before Thanksgiving, except for "Joy to the World" which could be sung each day of the year, because the Lord has come and He is coming again.
11. Stockings before or after presents? Before, of course!, doesn't everybody get their stocking the Saturday after Thanksgiving? (Thanks, Toni)
12. Carolers? Oh yes (does "baby shark" have a Christmas version)
13. Favorite memory about Christmas time? C.B. trees, the year the sibling gifts cost nothing, biscuits and gravy, a missionary at Christmas, attending Sacrament meeting on Christmas, the year of the silver foil tree, Christmas dinner at Del Taco with strangers, hearing a grateful, humble mother thank the whole ward for her families Christmas . . .
14. What is your favorite Christmas book or story? Luke 2 and 3 Nephi and inspirational, tear-jerker, true stories, the kind Pres. Monson likes to tell.
15. What do you do after presents and dinner? Visit, munch, play new games, munch, pretty much visit and eat chocolate
16. What is your favorite holiday smell? The smell of chocolate chip cookies/brownies baking, which actually smells good all year 'round. Those cinnamon scented pine cones smell good too.
17. Ice skating or walking around the mall? Ice skating (see #5 for reason)
18. Favorite Christmas tradition? I really like Lynda and Craig's new tradition of family CD's, Letti's tradition of secretly providing gifts for others, creative gifts, ornament exchanges, reading holiday newletters from friends. . .
19. Favorite part about winter? Soup days, rainy days, HS soccer games, Christmas vacation . . .
20. Ever Been kissed under the Mistletoe? Rob did we do that? Let's do it this year, a big one, in front of the kids!
