Syd's Successful Surgery . . .
We arrived at the surgery center at 7:45am, signed in and did all the pre-op and Syd went into surgery about 9:20. By 10:oo we were called back to sit with her in recovery. By 11:oo we were on our way home. Everything went just right. Syd's recovering well, her voice sounds different. I wonder if it will stay that way? She's pretty doped up so she sleeps a lot (and is snoring!?). She has already eaten some spaghetti (from pasta italia, her favorite), no meat.
Thanks for everyones' prayers!!! Updates tomorrow.
new website
I found this cool new website hungrygirl.com it has lots of tips on healthy eating and it has healthy recipes that compare to restaurant favorites. I am going to make it a goal to try 2 of their recipes a month. I'll post on here after I try them and let you know if they are yummy or if they are too "healthy" tasting!
Oh, and mom, most of their recipes have the point value listed.
I love you guys! Let's try and get healthier together!

Ward Halloween Party
Last night was our wards halloween party at Wilden Pump park. It was lots of fun. We had nachos, homemade rootbeer, cotton candy, popcorn, hot dogs, face painting , games, and trunk o treating. I started getting the kids ready at 2:30 and we still didn't get out the door until 6:30. The party started at 6:00. If it wasn't for mom helping to put on the glow sticks I never would of made it. My pumpkin won but it was the only pumpkin entered in the contest so I don't know how good ot really was. I think it looked pretty good. Everyone likes Chase and Garrett's costumes but they didn't quite know what they were...lol I won for craziest costume. Then after all that we got to come home and take it all off. I am not so excited to have to do it all over again in 3 days.

Man, I Love Being a SENIOR, going to school every day, lots of classes, Pick up sticks for Lunch, A million friends, and it's so easy to get up for Seminary even though it is 5am, What i especially Love about CHS is that there is NO SCHOOL FOR THE NEXT TWO DAYS!!! (due to the Fires)

Hello everyone, I really want to start taking family photographs to earn some extra money. But here is the problem. I need people to practice on. If anyone would like me to take pictures let me know. I just got a new camera and I have already begun taking pictures of the kids. Here are a few examples.

| okay..so with all the party planning for the kids halloween b-day i forgot about something...party pooper daddy!! i have to find a quick/cheap/easy costume for tad...i think he was just waiting for time to run out and hoping he would get out of dressing up!! but, no luck tad!!!!! he has to dress up, but he won't wear anything too crazy or uncomfortable...i was thinking about just going to get some scrubs and putting some red jelly on it..like a crazy doctor or something...any other ideas?? thanks guys! |

Pumpkin Patch
Today we went to the pumpkin patch in Yucaipa with Kaidee's class! They had a lot of fun ! This is the last year they are going to have it, because Target and Wal-mart bought the land :(

Have You Been Watching the News?
Southern California is on fire. Several homes have been destroyed. It is so smoky and yucky. They are having wind gusts up to 100 mph. The bad part is that it is supposed to be windy like this up until Wednesday. One person has been killed and 4 firefighters injured. Darian is stuck on his train because of the fires. So far there are 8 seperate fires burning throughout Southern California.
BNSF Day at Ft Worth Zoo
The BNSF Zoo day was so fun...they had free admittance, parking, lunch..flu shots..(EWW!!!!)...but we got 'em! Here are some pictures.....here, Zoe was a puppy..that tongue was actually painted on! Carys was a pink cat! :)
