34 years...... Holy Cow!!!

You guys have always shown us what a good marriage is!

.....A new dress for Christmas-every year.....watching AFV (even if you don't want to).....a little teasing now and then.....weekends away-just the two of you.....holding hands.....time for yourselves-Dads TV room, Walley Ball for Mom.....so many things!

I am so thankful to have you as parents. I have always heard that the most important thing that parents can do for their kids is to love each other. I have never questioned that, so good job guys! Thank you for loving each other! :)

Letti wanted to know who Everett looks like. When he was first born I thought that he looked like Cael, but I don't think that anymore. When my mom came here she said that she thinks Everett looks like Bo. So, here are pictures of Bo, Cael, and Everett. After seeing the picture of Bo I have to agree . I'm pretty sure that all of the boys are pretty close in age in these pictures. Bo was a few days old, Cael was about a week old, and Everett was 3 or 4 days old.
What does everyone else think?

Favorite Foto Friday

These pictures are from our trip to San Antonio. The girls loved wearing the robe in our hotel room. They would put it on and prance around the room like little divas. So funny! Oh, and here's a fun fact about our hotel: Every night about 11:00 if you looked out the window you could see tons of bats. They were flying all over the place. They would fly close and land on the window sill and then scoot right off again and fly away. They would be there all night, every night. I've never seen bats that up-close before and they are really pretty ugly! Anyways... The picture of Miles is from New Braunfels, there were streams running all through this park and so there were lots of bridges and Miles had to climb up on every one of them.

Taryn's plane ride

Tomorrow is Taryn's first airplane ride. She is going to Sacramento for a convention for school. She is excited. I, on the other hand, am nervous. I know she will have a great time. Keep her in your prayers. She flies back on Wednesday night.

Casey's birthday

Happy late birthday, Casey. I know your birthday was Saturday, but you know me, I'm a procrastinator. I love you so much. You are a wonderful young lady, and I am proud to have you as a daughter. We celebrated by having a barbeque at Grandma's house. It was lots of fun. Lots of family members were able to show up. It's always fun to have lots of family around. I was telling George, the dad of the family that came down with the Utah Bowlers, that this was a little bit of heaven. Heaven would be just like this eating good food and talking and playing games.

On a funny and sad note, Randi got in her first car accident on Saturday. She backed into her boyfriend, Chris's jeep. Most of the damage was done to her new car. She was a mess. She was afraid to tell Chris. She thought he would be so mad. I told him for her because she was afraid. He wasn't mad. He told her that there was hardly any damage to his car. He is so good to her. Cory was able to pull out most of the dents, so you can hardly see the dents anymore. Thanks Cory. She is able to laugh about it just a little bit. What a day Saturday was. I am glad it's over!

Finally...

... Syd got asked to a dance in a very cute and creative way! Her friend Josh was so worried about surprising her, but with the help of Letti and Kath, he did a great job.
He filled her truck with shredded pieces of paper, hiding her first clue.
One of the clues led her to the front door mat, which had a map.
she had to follow it around the block, popping balloons along the way.
All those clues led her back to her room, where her bed had rose petals all over it, along with this envelope.

There's a Hallmark movie on tonight. It's called Sweet Nothing In My Ear with Jeff Daniels and Marlee Matlin. Hopefully it's a good one! I have it set to record, so after the kids are in bed, and since Craig is at work, I am going to have some "me time" tonight and watch it in peace. :) I am a little sad though, because I know there is going to be a gathering in Dad's TV room to watch it and I'm not there! I already have a date with Uncle Steve to go to Bakers in November, I guess I'll just have to make a date with Dad in his TV room too! ;)

Hey Family...

We are having Livee's family birthday dinner tonight at our house. You all are welcome to come! Yummy steak and mashed potatoes, homemade banana pudding...... you all should definitely come!

We took this picture today after church. There is a field full of wildflowers just down the street and I wanted to get a picture before the landscapers come and mow it all away.

I had a fun Home And Garden party this week. Four neighbors came that I hadn't met before, so I was glad to meet them! We are planning a neighborhood party for this summer. I am closing my H&G party tomorrow, so let me know if anyone wants to order anything. Love ya guys!!!!

Another phase of nesting ...

One of my "nesting" projects has been to finally get all my photos out of photo boxes and into photo albums (really nice black leather ones that Neil bought me two birthdays ago) and it has been taking a long time because I sit and look at them and reminise (sp?). Anyway I think that these pictures were taken at Carys blessing? I am not sure but as I was looking at the Bobbi one I hoped that someday I would have a picture of one of my kids loving me like that - so I wanted to share it with Aunt Kathy.

The other one is Linda holding Kaidee ... totally not staged ... just happened to have the camera at the right time. Makes me laugh so hard every time I see it. Gotta love those buns!

First Camping Trip!

A few weekends ago Rowdy discovered how to rough it! and he also discovered he liked the taste of dirt, sand and marshmallows. The cooler was his favorite spot. and actually it was probably the roughest on Cody and Celeste who forgot to bring any bedding for Rowdy therefore were forced to share mummy bags with him! But... We had a really fun time. We went to Leo Carillo, where my family used to go every spring break. Its a beach above Malibu but you camp at the base of mountains. It was a really fun trip. I can't wait to go again! Does anyone want to come?
