new table
I found this cute table the other day at TJ Max for 29.99. It matched the pillow I already had perfectly. I also got the big candle to bring the green up a little too. The walls are still a little plain, but my house is getting there... one throw pillow or candle at a time.

If you could tell your grandkids to do one thing what would it be?
LOVE THE LORD!!!
If you could tell your grandkids to do [six] thing[s] what would [they] be?
Laugh, work, serve, R.E.D., pray, and look at the moon everynight and think of my Y for you!
Where do you want to serve your mission?
Argentina, Salta, or where ever the Lord needs a seminary teacher!
What is your favorite story in the Book of Mormon?
Now your questions are getting really hard . . . I really, really like the King Benjamin chapters Mosiah 2-4, (my all-time favorite scripture is Mosiah 2:41)!
My answers are also my testimony!
Y nan

Things I know Nan loves:
Giving her grandbabies their first baths (don't mind Grayson's funny face there).
Sports...see Nan back there listening to the (Lakers I think) game during the Angels game.
Her grandbabies! I know she loves ALL of them..but this is the only one that I had with just Nan!
Nan,
Tell us about some of the other things that you love..Things we may not know about!!
Love ya!

Letti - I didn't know how to answer you on a comment so here you go...
I saw online an example done this way and I thought it was great so I copied because I liked the organized baggies as well. So each person has 3 bags, one for each day. On the outside I wrote the menu for the day. For example: Breakfast - cereal ( i got individual ones from Target that already come in a little bowl and I let the girls pick out what they wanted - we did this for two days) with milk (dried and I know that sounds gross but it is not bad over cereal). Lunch - jerky, granola bar, fruit cup, nuts and a juice box. Dinner - soup (canned and I let everyone pick out what they wanted - make sure it is one that you could eat cold if you had to) crackers and a juice box. Dessert - oatmeal cookie. Snacks - Fruit leather and hard candy.
We are going to eat the 72 hour kits for confrence weekends so they get rotated and so we can change tastes and also learn what is enough or not enough or what is gross or whatever.
The thing that helped me so much was someone was talking about when we would need our 72 hour kits and they said it would most likely be in a situation where you were evacuated and relocated to a shelter (like with the fires). For some reason that helped me while packing my stuff - I always before pictured being in the woods and it being really scary and hard, which also could happen but the shelter thought helped.
Some other ideas where pudding snacks, canned cheese and easy cheese, ummmm we did canned chicken one night with those individual mayo packs that don't have to be refrigerated and we will make chicken salad and have it on crackers. Anyway that is what I did, let me know if you have any more questions.

Happy Birthday
She has grown so much in just a short time.
Sierra's birthday is tomorrow and she will be 2 years old. She will have cupcakes with her friends at school. Then Tuesday is her party at Bouce World. If anyone ask her she will tell you all about her Happy Birthday and her party with a bouce house. She is a talker, a very big helper and has hit the touble two's. She throws herself on the floor and crys for anything. She loves Mickey Mouse Club House, Sesame Street and Princess. All three ard mixed into her birthday. I wanted to just do one theme, but some times things don't work out. Sam's club ran out of Princess cupcakes so we got Sesame Street. Sierra didn't want crowns, so we got ears. and her goodies is Mickey's bags are princess. What do you do when you have a two year old? May be this year she can learn how to go potty in the toilet.

Sorry, I've been MIA!!
I'm sorry that I have not been on in sooooo long! I loved getting caught up on all of you. For those of you who didn't know, I have had a small battle with Shingles, but ask me sometime about my miracle!! It began with a beautiful priesthood blessing . . .
Here is a picture of Chad's new sweetheart! We really like her and she is a real cutie! As you can see, he is trying hard to move on and enjoy life.
Just as an FYI, I have finally updated our family blog with a bunch of new (old) pix! I got a digital camera for Christmas so now maybe I will be better. . .although, I do need to learn how to work it and get the pictures off once they are on there.

I think that it's so cool that you were picked to be SFMOTW. I am so glad that you are a part of this family. I remember the first time I met you, you were so cute and your hair was much lighter. You were always such a happy little boy. I am glad that you have let me be your second mom. I know that we have our differences and that I might be hard on you sometimes but I want you to know that I love you. I miss you when you aren't around and I love it when you are around. You are doing so good in school now and your reading has improved so much. I can't wait to see who you become and what things you will do as you get older. I love you .
