I Am So Lucky

I went to Saundra's big Pampered Chef Party and I got so much stuff. I got a big stone carrier, spatula, turkey baister (sp?) bamboo spoons, salad tongs, mini spatula, orange peeler, 25% off whatever I choose and for the Grand Finale. I won the entire show. So I get $115.00 worth of free product and 10% off for the next year. Plus she sent me home with food and dessert. I am so glad I went. For those that didn't go you missed out.

Grayson update!

Grayson's first tooth finally came through! He was eating biscuits and gravy tonight and Tad felt it first...it's the right front tooth (on the bottom)....he and Tad also got haircuts today! I took some pictures and am probably going to pretend that this was his first haircut!! For scrapbook purposes...haha!!

This calls for a Family Vote....

So I was talking to Dad on Sunday and he said I could do this. He mentioned that I wasn't allowed to cut my girls hair and so I said that since he gets to say that we can't cut our hair we should get to say that he SHOULD cut his hair. So I said that I would cast a family vote both on out Christian kiddos blog and on our bowler blog. So go ahead and vote. Should Dad/Uncle Mike/Papa/Dude grow his hair out again or cut it ???

Sierra was so excited to see Elmo, she almost jumped out of my arms. But when it was our turn to sit next to him she wasn't so sure. We were at the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana, they had a whole Sesame Street area. We had a lot of fun.

What do you think? There are new homes all over the place that they are just basically giving away because they made too many then the housing market was going crazy and now that it slowed down they are throwing in all these upgrades and incentives - even cruises!!! Isn't that cool!

And this one is the same number of rooms but one half less bathroom because it is one level and it is only $211,990.00. Come on!!!

The cost of living is sooooo much cheaper here than there and we have a railroad too................why not consider Bakersfield???? Its close enough to visit your family that you have down there when ever you want but you can afford to buy a house here without being broke! Come on!!!

Livee

She is starting kindergarten tomorrow! She is so excited too! We went to the back to school night last week and she met her teacher, Mrs. Gavin. She was a little shy at first, and then she didn't want to leave. I think the first day will be fun for her, but probably a shocker too. She is going from being home all day, straight to 7 hours at school. Me and Craig are taking the girls tomorrow, and after we drop off Livee there is a boo-hoo breakfast for all the parents of kindergartners. Sounds fun, huh? Anyways, I will blog back and let you know how it went.

talent show

Paige and Zoe were so cute in the talent show. They sang "I'm A Nut" Iya taught it to them. This was at the end of the school year last year, and they are already asking me when this years talent show is and school doesn't even start til tomorrow. So, I think they had fun! If anyone wants to come to Texas I will let you watch the video for free! :}

Syd's Sick Too!

I went to the Doctors last friday, cause i had a sore throat, it was a virus, NO strep, NO mono. It lasted till about Tuesday with aches and a fever, I was better once Ed Week started but now my throat is starting to hurt again, so now maybe they'll finally take my huge tonsils OUT!!!

PAST WEEK

Rowdy lost his cord, thanks to his onesie. my friend and i flew up to San Luis Obispo for breakfast in his company plane. I ate an "Amelia sandwich" (real name) eggs, ham, cheddar, and swiss. it was pretty tasty. I tried to get Rowdy to moon the camera but Celeste changed the rating with this picture. she's such a mom.

We need a Family Prayer

Our family is very concerned. As most have heard there was a big earthquake in Peru yesterday (the death toll is up to 450) and Bo is in Peru. We need everybodys prayers. We have not heard anything and we are very worried about him. Hopefully he will return to the states as planned around midnight. We will keep everyone posted.

Question for mommies

I need help from anyone who has any good ideas. Sierra has been off the pacifier for three weeks now. She has started sucking on her fingers. She doesn't have a favorite yet, but she sucking them, not just sticking them in her mouth. This is why I let her have the pacifier for so long. Should I give it back? Should I wait longer and see what happens? How long do I wait? She doesn't suck her fingers to go to bed, it all different times of the day. I could use any words of wisdom.
