Hey Everyone, Well as most of you know Mom and Dad are about to have a pretty quiet house! So having been school shopping... (not for clothes but for a school) I've finally found the school I've been praying about... Not here in So Cal, but up in UTAH, Can you believe that??? And I chose it all on my own, because if Mom had her way, I'd be staying here and going to school in Redlands.
I was pretty set on going to school in Redlands, and starting July, 15, but something just didn't feel right. Mom told me I had to spend my time checking out schools, or get a full time job, and start paying for everything! She was trying to encourage me to make a decision. One day when Mom and some of her friends were at Reebo's (Marie Wilson), Patty Service was down and tried talking my Mom into sending me up to Utah. At first both Mom and I were pretty set on me not leaving, but we decided to look at schools up there anyways. After talking to Michelle Tolboe and looking at some schools I made a phone call to one school, I left a message and didn't really think anymore about it, but at least I could still tell my Mom I was looking! The next day I was in bed (about 9:30 in the morning) and I heard the phone ring, so I decided to get up and answer it. It was Dallas from TAYLOR ANDREWS ACADEMY! Our phone conversation was very good, and I got a lot of information from it, it was even the first school I really got excited about, except it was in Utah :'( So I hung up the phone and immediately called Mom and told her, even when I was talking to her everything just felt so right and I knew that's where I was supposed to be :o) (Because I know I have to make some really big decisions I've been praying and reading the scriptures, and living how I should so that I could have help in my HUGE decisions) I think that's why I instantly knew that this was the school for me! After that it seems like everything just really started to fall into place.
So... I'm moving next month, to Orem, Utah. The school is across the street from Utah Valley University (UVU) Probably the week of Sep. 15th. The Utah Bowlers said I could live with them till I find an apartment and roommates. :o)

Syd, I am so proud of you. I am going to miss you like crazy, I can't believe that everyone is leaving. It looks like I will be taking lots of road trips to Utah. I can't wait until you can come home and cut my hair. I might even drive up their for a haircut. You make me so happy and please come back to Cali.
We are so proud of you too! Doesn't it feel good to know where you are supposed to be?! way to be worthy of the spirit. Its almost like a super hero power. love you and we are excited to be your guinea pigs :)

You do sound very grown up in this blog. I too, am one of your very proud sisters. And I have to know... did you pray aboot coming to any schools in TX? ;o)
