Santa, can I please for real have clothes, a mirror, make up, a new doll like baby Annabell, an angel, jewelry, v-smile, a jewelry box, a purse and a golf cart for me and daddy. Santa, Grayson has been good too. I don't know what he wants, but I think Elmo and a boy Barbie.

A Fun Night With Friends

Sydney was supposed to be playing games with us but instead she was hanging out with her friends. I guess they were a little tired.

My mom has been friends with this group for quite a while. They started out being a bunco group and then it turned into a pictionary group. The group has now ended but they like to get together every so often and play games. They have been inviting their daughters to come along too. This is such a fun group. Kathy was an amazing host as usual. The soup was so yummy. Thank you so much for sharing the recipe I can't wait to make it again. I look forward to the next time that we can get together.

Yup we had to see Santa again. I really wanted to get a more traditional Santa picture, like the ones I had when I was a kid. Kodi Lynn did so good, she ran right up to him. I was so happy! She didn't want to leave either. It was a lot of fun, and I got to do some more Christmas shopping while I was out too! Yesss!

So I was out of the loop - Tiff mentioned a move but I didn't know what she was talking about but then Cody just called and let me know that a couple of you are considering a move. So sad! But happy for you!! It will work out the way it should.

If Tiff and Bob move would someone let me know as soon as possible so I can call Aunt Lindy and see if she will sell me the washer and dryer of Lindas???? I really want them and my current ones are acting funny so I am not sure how much longer they will last so I really might not just want them but need them! Anyway let me know.

I found this yummy recipe on my friend Chandri's blog. She said that the cookies don't come out flat so I knew I had to try it. She was right they were not flat at all and they were very good. My family gobbled them up. Thanks Chandri for sharing this wonderful recipe with me.

Kaidee couldn't mix it for very long. She said it hurt her hands too much after we added the dry ingredients. So I had to get a picture of her holding the mixer with two hands.

Traditions?

Ok everyone I know you have some favorite Christmas traditions. Lets post them so that we can all see. I love hearing about what other people are doing for the holidays.

*Our family always gets a new pair of pj's and a new pillow on Christmas eve. I love this tradition. I started the pillow idea a few years ago.
*Every Saturday night we get all our blankets and pillows and we have a slumber party in the living room. We watch a Christmas movie and have snacks together as a family. (thanks Galyans for the idea)
*I want to start a tradition of reading a Christmas story every night. I have tried in the past but something always comes up. This year I am going to try very hard to start this tradition and finish it too.
*Every year I take the kids to the Hallmark store so that they can pick out their own ornament. I try not to help them but sometimes I have to. I then date the box and put their name on it so I know who it belongs to and how old they were. This year I will be taking a picture of them with their ornament.
